TRHS Football Field Dedication Ceremony
USD 110 Thunder Ridge Schools and the Kensington Recreation Commission are excited to honor a very special teacher, athletic director and community member. All are invited to attend the dedication of Don Wiens Field at the home football game Thursday, October 26th in Kensington.
The ceremony will take place prior to kickoff at 6:30 pm. For those unable to attend in-person the pre-game ceremony and game will be livestreamed on YouTube at: https://www.youtube.com/@thunderridgeschools9567/streams
Halloween Parade for TRES
We will be having the traditional Costume Parade on Halloween Day! All companies and the community members are welcome to come see the kids, even if they don’t bring goodies. The kids will parade down main street on Tuesday, October 31, at approximately 2:45pm. *If the weather is not cooperating we will move inside to the elementary school lunchroom.

Kensington Library
Join us for the “Read It and Eat” book club. October's title is Magic, Lies, and Deadly Pies by Misha Popp. Kari at the store plans to make another dessert from the book and will be serving it this week! Be sure to stop by the Kensington Community Store and ask for the book pie.
We are happy to be hosting a Trunk Or Treat Event again this year! Bring the kids and come by the library from 5:30-7pm Halloween night, Tuesday, October 31. Several local businesses and organizations plan to join us. It will be a fantastic night!
Legion Friday Night
This week at the Kensington American Legion we will feature our hot beef sandwich. We will have our regular menu items as well and our kitchen is open from 6-8. You can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. Hope to see you Friday.
