SHOP LOCAL!
Dear Kensington Residents,
With the storm that swept through the area last week, many were affected and our Kensington Community Store took a major hit. All cold, deli, dairy, and frozen items were a loss except for the main, walk-in freezer. It will take some time to order in and build back our supply. But to place orders we need the weekly income from our community. We need you to keep coming in and shopping for dry goods and what items we do have available to continue ordering the things needing replaced. PLEASE, do you part in supporting our community owned store. We can’t do this without you!
Sincerely,
Erica Barnes

HQ Kansas Hotline
TR KAY hosted a speaker on suicide prevention through HQ Kansas on March 14. The presenter talked to the high school and middle school on ways to identify friends in crisis, as well as how to find help for themselves if they ever felt they needed it. It’s definitely a topic that needs to be openly discussed with our youth. It was very engaging and well presented.
