Save the Date!

The annual Alumni Banquet is fast approaching. Mark your calendars and make plans to attend Saturday, May 27, as the Class of 2003 will host this year. Invites will be mailed out soon and the Alumni Board appreciates if you will help spread the word to any family members you believe would like to attend. TR Schools Schedule of Events

The annual school Carnival was held Friday night, March 24. This event helps fund different projects for all three buildings. Thank you to everyone who came out to have a fun night and support our Thunder Ridge schools.

Legion Friday Night

This week at the Kensington American Legion we will have a special of pulled pork, party potatoes, baked beans, and dessert. Our meat is provided and cooked by Adam Synoground. We will have our regular menu items as well and our kitchen hours are 6-8. You can call 785-476-3204 to have your order ready for pick up. Hope to see you Friday!


Kensington Library News

What’s Happening at the Library??

• March is National Quilt Month! Local ladies have provided a beautiful quilt display that will be here all month. Stop in and see them before they leave!.

• We have scrapbooks available, compiled by the late Lelia Grauerholz, for the community to look through. Several familiar faces, special memories and events from the 80’s.

• In case you missed it, we now have Puzzles available for checkout! Come see our selection.


Condolences

Sympathies to the family and friends of the following:

Rhonda Gibson, age 57, passed away Sunday, March 12, at her home in Kirwin. Rhonda spent many years as a janitor for Eastern Heights and Thunder Ridge schools.

Curtis Beach, age 75, passed away Monday, March 20, at the Smith County Memorial Hospital. He was very involved, always giving back to his community and lending a helping hand.
