Fish Fry Friday Night
It’s no April fools’ joke! The Kensington American Legion is having a FISH FRY this Friday evening, April 1st, from 6-8pm at the legion. We'd love to have you join us for a buffet style spread of: fish, fries, coleslaw, hush puppies, and desserts. We will have several different kinds of fish--even from Alaska! There will also be a chicken strip basket available for the children. Prices are $15/adult and $7.50/kids. Regular menu items will NOT be available.
Please use the south bar door when you come. Bring your appetite, family, and friends! Call us at 785-476-3204 and we can make your order up to go, and it will be plentiful.

Eleven High School students worked hard to bring the playwright, Gary Peterson's sparkling adaptation of “The Great Gatsby” to life this past weekend.
The kids had a new sponsor this year and were so grateful to have 6th grade teacher, Miranda Kirchhoff, step into this position. Patty Lowe had been the play sponsor for at least 8 years, if not more, and was a great resource to answer questions.
The cast included Seniors: Paul Ferguson, JaCea Hunter, Leland McGuire, Kristal Rice and Jordyn Vales; Juniors: Trinity Coomes, Jacob Elson, Hunter Gitchel, Bryce Kelley; and Freshman: Ezekiel McGuire. Also special helpers behind the scenes running lights, audio and curtains included Sophomore: LyNece Stokesbury; Freshman: Destynee Coomes, 8th grader: Gracie Rice and 7th grader: Hannah Nelson.

Weekly Inspiration
In this life, we are all just walking up the mountain and we can sing as we climb, or we can complain about our sore feet. Whichever we choose, we still gotta do the hike. I decided a long time ago singing made a lot more sense. -unknown
