Also, Saturday, June 7, 2025 will be the Summer Kick-Off event hosted by the Kensington Commercial/Community Club. It will be a fun time you won’t want to miss!

Legion Friday Night
Please call Julie Craig to reserve the legion at 785-543-4108. Both the bar area and the hall can be booked for events. Every Friday night we have the regular menu items and also offer a Friday Night Special. Call ahead your to–go orders at 785-476-3204, the kitchen is open from 6-8pm. We hope to see you Friday night! March 2-8 is Read Across America Week in celebration of Dr. Seuss’ birthday March 2nd. Thunder Ridge students were invited to dress up each day in fun and wacky themes. Monday was wear as many COLORS as you can, Tuesday wear a fun HAT, Wednesday wear WACKY clothes & hair, Thursday wear RED & BLUE. Friday is wear FUN & SILLY socks and Friday afternoon, Mrs. Barnes plans to have special treats and an activity for the TRES kiddos. Encourage a love of reading for your children, make reading fun!
