Meet-and-Greet at the Library

Kansas Author Rosie Bosse will be at the Kensington Community/School Library

on Saturday, March 23, to meet our patrons and sign copies of her books. We encourage ages Pre-K to 3rd grade to visit from 9:30-10:30am; 11:00-12/noon for 4th-8th grades. Adult session starting at 12:30pm. Learn more about the author and see her titles at www.postrockpublishing.com. We also have a list of her titles and order forms available at the library. All orders must be returned to Mrs. Barnes at the Kensington Library BY Wednesday, March 20, to ensure enough copies will be available on Saturday.

If you cannot join us Saturday, pre ordered books will be available for pickup the following week. Thank you for supporting a Kansas author by joining us on Saturday, March 23. Please consider purchasing one of her books!

Kensington Library News

March is National Quilt Month and the quilts are on display! Stop in to see the beautiful works by local quilt makers. The library is full of colorful and magnificent quilts for the whole month.

March 2nd of each year is celebrated for being Dr. Seuss’ Birthday and Read Across America. This year, thanks to a kind donation from the Smith County Drug and Alcohol Council, we were able to purchase books to give to the K-3rd of Thunder Ridge Elementary. We will also say Happy Birthday to Dr. Seuss with a special treat for the kids this Friday.
