KAYS Host Girls Rock & Boys Roll

The TRHS KAY organization held a fun filled morning for kids ages pre-K through 6th grade on Saturday, April 23. Games and craft activities were available for all ages and girls could get their hair and nails done.

Each spring, the high school KAY group hosts this Girls Rock and Boys Roll service project. It is one of the many service projects they provide each year. This past Saturday, the group entertained and played with 35 excited boys and girls. What a FUN morning!! The girls could get their hair curled and nails painted. There were three different crafts available for any of the kids to do. There were so many activities planned and played that morning. The kids had a blast!! The weather was gorgeous as well, so many hoops were shot, races run, and even the game of Rock, Paper, Scissors was played while jumping the hoola hoop course! Thank you to First St. John Lutheran Church for the use of their facilities, to all the parents who sent their children, and to the KAYS who came and helped!! All money raised by the event is given away as well! Thanks again to all who came!!
