Wreaths Across America Fundraiser
Tuesday evening the Wreaths Across America group hosted an Italian night as a fundraiser for their mission to place wreaths at all fallen veteran's headstones at Christmas time. The group associated with the Kensington American Legion have 7 cemeteries that they service in the surrounding area. The groups motto is "Remember Honor Teach" we try to teach the younger generation the sacrifice that others have went through so that they have the freedom of today.
We had that opportunity this past Tuesday evening when the Busy Bee 4-H club helped us in serving the Italian night meal at the legion in Kensington. If you would like more information about Wreaths Across America you are welcome to contact Regie Henry at 476-6237 or Kim Terrell at 656-2276.
