Attention Kensington Residents

Dumpsters will be available August 25 through September 5 for disposal of your large, bulky trash items. These bins will be located at the city lot on South Adams Street.


Steering Committee Raffle

The Thunder Ridge Steering Committee will be having games, taking TR apparel orders, and holding a raffle at OFSN. Prizes will include 12" stuffed longhorn, LED string lights, a 43" Vizio tv, and a Thunder Ridge cedar bench made by Buzz Rice. Prices include: 4 tickets for a dollar to play game; $1 per ticket-stuffed longhorn; $3 per ticket- Lights; $5 per ticket-TV; $20 per ticket for bench.

Apparel will need to be paid for at the time of order.


OFSN in Kensington

Old Fashioned Saturday Night will kick-off Friday night, August 20, with a 5K Fun Run. There is a full schedule planned for all day on Saturday, August 21. Various food booths and activity/vendor booths will be available to the public. So come on out to Kensington Friday, August 20 and Saturday, August 21, for a grand ole time!

Kastle Receives National Award

Kensington is the proud hometown of Dr. Seth Kastle. Dr. Kastle is the assistant professor of leadership studies at Fort Hays State University. He was recognized by the National Association of Student Affairs Personnel Administrators (NASPA) with the 2020 Veterans Knowledge Community Ally and Advocate Award. Kensington Library News

With school starting up on Thursday, August 19, the library will be switching to our school year schedule. Mondays we are open late, from 8am to 7pm, Tuesday through Friday 8am to 4pm, and Saturdays will still be 9am to 2pm.
