Something New at the Kensington Library!
If you happened to drive past the library last week, you probably noticed something different. We have had lots of people asking, what are these black frames for??? We are proud to announce we now have a beautiful story walk around our facility. This project was made possible by the generosity of donations from the Cleon Dettmer Trust.
We will display a new children’s story periodically for families to read and walk around the library. This is an interactive program for children to enjoy reading with parents, grandparents, family or friends.
Thank you to library trustees and their spouses for your hard work installing our new story walk.

Homecoming Tailgate Party
This Friday, September 20, the TR Steering Committee will host a Homecoming Tailgate before the game. Starting at 5:30pm with Music, Face Painting and Cornhole. Crowning ceremony takes place at 6:30pm and kickoff at 7:00.
September to Remember!
Are you ready for the Ring of Destiny Wrestling event?! THIS Saturday, September 21, 2024 at Thunder Ridge High School. Buy your tickets today at the Kensington Community Store. Advanced tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for kids (age 5 & under are FREE), also Military $5 (active or retired). Doors open at 6:30pm and the bell rings at 7! This event will benefit the Wreaths Across America project.

KAY Hosting Blood Drive

Legion Friday Night
Serving the regular menu items every week and this Friday the special is Fajitas or Beef Nachos for $11. Call ahead your to–go orders at 785-476-3204. Wishing the Longhorns Good Luck for their Homecoming game against Hill City. We hope to see you Friday night!
